MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421044861 A) filed by Rimtex Engineering Pvt. Ltd. on December 10, 2024, for An Oblique Flange Ring And Traveller Assembly For A Textile Machine.

Inventor includes Kalpesh G. Parmar.

The application for the patent was published on July 31, 2026, under issue no. 31/2026.

Abstract: The present invention provides an oblique flange ring and traveller assembly (400) which increases ring frame productivity and reduces yarn hairiness. The oblique flange ring and traveller assembly (400) includes a traveller (200) having a convex curvature having a plurality curve with tangentially increasing radii; and a ring (300) having a concave traveller contacting portion (340) corresponding with the ring contacting surface (240) of the traveller (200) thereby providing contacting surface (A’’B’’) at least 5% and up to 15% more than that of the contacting surface provided by a known oblique flange ring and traveller assembly (104). A longer contact surface of the ring contacting surface (240) of the traveller (200) and the traveller contacting surface (340) of the ring distributes the force over a wider area, lowering the specific pressure between the ring (300) and traveller (200).
