The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: The present invention discloses an IoT-ML based system for real-time water quality monitoring and classification, comprising a sensor array (100), a microcontroller or edge processing unit (200), a data acquisition and preprocessing module (300), an embedded machine learning engine (400), a communication module (500), a cloud infrastructure (600), a user interface and alert system (700), and a power management module (800). The sensor array (100) is configured to measure physicochemical parameters of water and generate signals processed by the microcontroller unit (200). The preprocessing module (300) performs filtering, normalization, and drift compensation, and the machine learning engine (400) classifies water quality in real time. The communication module (500) enables transmission of processed data to the cloud infrastructure (600), while the user interface (700) displays results and generates alerts. The system provides reduced latency, improved accuracy, and energy-efficient operation through edge-based intelligent processing. Accompanied Drawings [Fig. 1-4]
