MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641063567 A) filed by Prof. T. Sobharani; E Udaya Lakshmi; V Sambasiva; and Dr. V. Deepthi on May 20, 2026, for An Iot Enabled Wearable System For Stress Detection And Work Life Balance Optimization.
Inventors include Prof. T. Sobharani; E Udaya Lakshmi; V Sambasiva; and Dr. V. Deepthi.
The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: The invention of the present disclosure relates to an loT-enabled wearable system that is designed for stress detection and optimization of work-life balance among working people, more specifically, working women. The system utilizes a wearable device combined with various physiological sensors that monitor real-time measurements such as heart rate variability, galvanic skin response, skin temperature, sleep status, and physical activity levels. The gathered information is then transferred wirelessly to the mobile app and a cloud-based analytics engine through various communication modules. Machine learning algorithms are used in the process of preprocessing, analyzing, and categorizing the data into several classes of stress levels. Based on the results of stress level detection, personal recommendations related to relaxation techniques, work schedule management, sleep optimization, and well-being practices are provided.
