Abstract: An IoT-based agricultural system comprises a solar panel (14) oriented by a microcontroller (10) via a first actuator (30, 32) in dependence on a light-dependent-resistor sensor (16) to a position of maximum light intensity, generating a light-intensity/energy signal; soil and environmental sensors (20, 22, 24, 26) for sensing soil pH, moisture, temperature and humidity; an irrigation sub-system (46, 48) for delivering water based on sensed moisture; and a fertigation sub-system comprising a nutrient reservoir (40) and a dosing pump/solenoid valve (42) coupled via a mixing/venturi injector (44) to the irrigation water line. A crop-suitability comparator module computes, from the sensed parameters, a suitability score for each of a plurality of candidate crops in a reference table and identifies a recommended crop. The microcontroller computes a fertilizer dosing duration proportional to the deviation of sensed soil pH from the recommended crop's optimal pH range, and actuates the dosing pump/solenoid valve for this duration only when the light-intensity/energy signal exceeds a preset threshold — synchronizing fertilizer dosing with available harvested solar energy. Sensed data and status are transmitted to a cloud IoT platform for display via LCD and mobile/web application.
