Abstract: The present invention relates to a vehicle-integrated accident-responsive safety, fuel-delivery control and emergency communication system. The system comprises a processing and control unit (10), a multi-axis inertial sensing unit (12), a timing control unit (14), a positioning unit (16), a wireless communication unit (18), and a fuel-pump control module (22) operatively associated with a fuel pump (24). Upon system energisation, the timing control unit (14) establishes a start-up stabilisation interval (42) during which accident-responsive actuation is inhibited to prevent vehicle start-up vibrations and transient movement from causing false accident detection. After expiry of the stabilisation interval (42), motion signals are monitored to detect a deceleration satisfying a predetermined threshold (44). Detection thereof initiates monitoring for a subsequent stationary condition (46), and an accident is validated (48) only when the stationary condition persists for a predetermined duration. Upon accident validation, the fuel-pump control module (22) electrically interrupts operation of the fuel pump (24), geographical position data is acquired from the positioning unit (16), and an emergency communication containing the geographical position data is automatically transmitted through the wireless communication unit (18) to at least one predetermined remote device (20). The sequential physical-state validation reduces false accident responses while providing automatic fuel isolation and emergency communication following a validated accident.
