MUMBAI, India, July 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202431024539 A) filed by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited on March 27, 2024, for An Iot Based Telemetry System To Monitor The Temperature Of A Rotating Equipments.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an IoT based telemetry system (100) for monitoring temperature of rotating equipments (1). The said system having a signal conditioning unit (24), for signal conditioning of signals generating from a plurality of thermocouples (7) whereby temperature data transmitting from rotating equipment (1) to stationary location, and a Micro controller (27) cum Wi-Fi transceivers (21) positioned on rotor shaft (3) connected with the signal conditioning unit (24), and receiving temperature data of rotating equipment (1) to store in database (39) of a DB Server (38) wherein the stored data of database (39) accessible through IoT transceiver (28) by means of TCP/IP protocol, and an induction power loop (4) supplying power to the IoT based telemetry system (100) by means of inductive power supply (4) wherein a wireless transmitter coil module (17) is powered from 230V AC power supply (19) through 12 V AC-DC converter (20).
