Abstract: The present invention relates to an IoT-based smart parking management and vehicle guidance system for efficient parking space allocation, vehicle authentication, and access control. The system comprises one or more ground-mounted Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensors, an infrared sensor, an RFID-based identification system, a processing unit, a vehicle guidance interface, and a dual-barrier access control assembly. The processing unit detects vehicle entry, authenticates vehicles using RFID data, determines parking slot availability based on occupancy information received from the ToF sensors, and allocates a nearest available parking slot. Navigation instructions are generated to guide the vehicle to the allocated slot, while RFID checkpoint readers monitor vehicle movement within the parking facility. The system maintains parking slots in available, reserved, and occupied states, records entry and exit events, calculates parking duration, and automatically updates slot availability upon vehicle exit, thereby improving parking efficiency, security, and user convenience.
