Abstract: The present invention relates to an IoT-based smart irrigation management system that enables sustainable and automated irrigation by integrating real-time soil moisture and groundwater level monitoring. The system comprises a soil moisture sensor (101) configured to measure root-zone moisture content and a groundwater level sensor (102) configured to monitor underground water availability. Sensor data is processed by a microcontroller (103), which controls a relay module (104) to selectively activate an irrigation pump (105) based on predefined dual-condition logic. A communication module (106) transmits real-time data to a cloud platform for remote monitoring through a user interface (109). The electronic components are protected within a controller enclosure (107) and powered by a power supply unit (108). Irrigation is automatically initiated only when soil moisture falls below a threshold and groundwater availability remains above a safe limit, thereby preventing over-irrigation and groundwater depletion.
