The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an Internet of Things (IoT)-based intelligent healthcare monitoring system designed to provide continuous physiological monitoring and automated emergency assistance through a mobile application. The proposed system consists of a wearable Electrocardiogram (ECG) sensor and an ESP32 microcontroller for the acquisition of real-time cardiac signals, which are securely transmitted to a cloud platform and synchronized with the mobile application. The mobile application continuously monitors ECG data, evaluates physiological abnormalities using intelligent signal processing techniques, and detects potential medical emergencies based on predefined threshold values and abnormal cardiac patterns. Upon detecting a potential emergency, the system automatically generates instant alerts, communicates the patient's real-time GPS location to designated caregivers and emergency contacts, and securely stores health records in the cloud for remote access and clinical review. The application also provides live ECG waveform visualization, device connectivity status, battery monitoring, emergency history, and patient profile management through an intuitive user interface. The proposed invention offers a portable, scalable, and cost-effective digital healthcare solution that enhances remote patient monitoring, improves emergency response time, and facilitates timely medical intervention. Furthermore, the modular architecture supports future integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms for predictive health analytics and personalized patient care.
