The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an Internet of Things (IoT)-based smart agriculture monitoring and automation system designed to improve precision farming through real-time environmental monitoring. The system integrates multiple sensors to measure key agricultural parameters such as temperature, humidity, soil moisture, and light intensity. An ATmega328 microcontroller serves as the central processing unit, collecting and processing sensor data efficiently. The primary objective of the invention is to assist farmers in making informed decisions by providing continuous, accurate, and location-specific climate data, thereby enhancing crop productivity and reducing dependency on manual monitoring. The system incorporates a DHTll sensor for temperature and humidity measurement, a soil moisture sensor for monitoring water content in the soil, and a Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) for detecting ambient light intensity. The processed data is transmitted wirelessly through an ESP8266 Wi-Fi module to a cloud-based embedded web server. The data is updated at regular intervals and can be accessed remotely through a user- friendly Android or web application. This enables farmers to monitor real-time environmental conditions, analyze historical trends, and receive alerts when· parameters exceed predefined thresholds.
