Abstract: The present subject matter relates to an internal combustion engine (100). The internal combustion engine (100) comprises an inlet camshaft (104), a duct (108), and a suction device (106). The inlet camshaft (104) is mounted in a cylinder head (102) of the internal combustion engine (100) and includes an axial bore (104c) extending between a first end (104a) and a second end (104b) of the inlet camshaft (104). The duct (108) is configured with the first end (104a) of the inlet camshaft (104) and fluidically connected to the axial bore (104c). The duct (108) is also fluidically coupled with an air box. The suction device (106) is configured with the second end (104b) of the inlet camshaft (104), wherein the suction device (106) is fluidically coupled with the duct (108) through the axial bore (104c).
