Abstract: The present disclosure related to an internal combustion engine for a vehicle. The internal combustion engine includes an upper member and a cylinder head assembly (100). A cavity (106) is configured to extend through the cylinder head assembly, wherein a spark plug unit is mounted in the cavity (106). An opening (112) is configured on an outer surface of the cylinder head assembly, wherein the opening is configured to be connected to the cavity (106). A blocking member (108, 308) is engaged with the opening (112), wherein the configuration of the opening (112) and the blocking member (108, 308) facilitates exit of fluid and restricts entry of external fluid through the opening from outside.
