The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: This project presents the development of an intelligent wheeled ground robot by integrating digital twin modelling with a bio-inspired navigation framework. The system is designed to mimic natural obstacle avoidance behaviours, enabling efficient navigation in unknown and dynamic environments. A digital twin model is developed using SolidWorks to provide a virtual representation of the robotic system for analysis and visualization. The robot utilizes an ESP32-CAM for visual perception and an ultrasonic sensor for accurate obstacle detection. Based on sensor inputs, the robot performs real-time decision-making to move safely and efficiently. The integration of hardware and digital modelling enhances system adaptability, path planning, and operational efficiency. The proposed framework demonstrates improved autonomous navigation suitable for applications in surveillance, defence, and smart mobility systems. In conclusion, the project successfully combines digital modeling and bio-inspired techniques to develop an autonomous robotic system capable of intelligent navigation. The results highlight the effectiveness of integrating virtual and physical systems to achieve improved efficiency, adaptability, and real-time decision-making capabilities.
