Abstract: The present invention relates to an intelligent traffic management system (100) for real-time traffic congestion prediction and adaptive traffic control using hybrid graph-theoretic and fuzzy logic techniques. The system comprises a data acquisition module (110) configured to collect traffic information from traffic sensors (120), surveillance cameras (130), GPS/IoT data sources (140), and communication networks (145). A graph-theoretic network modelling module (150) generates a weighted graph representation of the road network and a congestion prediction module (160) predicts traffic congestion levels. A fuzzy logic decision-making module (170) processes traffic parameters and congestion information to generate adaptive traffic control decisions. Based on the generated decisions, an adaptive traffic control module (180), a route optimization module (190), and an emergency vehicle priority module (200) manage traffic flow. Traffic information and control actions are displayed through a user and traffic management interface (210). The system improves traffic efficiency, reduces congestion and enhances emergency vehicle movement.
