MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641115386 A) filed by Sri Eshwar College Of Engineering on September 24, 2026, for An Intelligent Self-Optimizing Network System Using Predictive Traffic Analysis And Dynamic Routing For Enhanced Data Transmission.

Inventor includes Pl. Rajarajeswari.

The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an intelligent self-optimizing network system for enhancing the efficiency, reliability, and adaptability of data transmission in a communication network. The system is configured to continuously monitor network parameters including bandwidth utilization, latency, packet loss, throughput, jitter, queue length, link availability, and traffic rate across a plurality of interconnected network nodes. A predictive traffic analysis module processes historical and real-time network information to identify traffic patterns and predict future traffic conditions, including potential congestion and performance degradation. Based on the predicted traffic conditions and current network status, a routing optimization module evaluates multiple available communication paths using a plurality of network performance parameters and determines an optimized routing path. A dynamic routing controller automatically selects and configures the optimized path and initiates traffic rerouting when a current or predicted network condition exceeds a defined performance threshold. Further, a feedback mechanism compares actual network performance with predicted performance and adaptively updates routing and prediction parameters to improve subsequent network decisions. The system thereby provides continuous network monitoring, predictive congestion management, adaptive route selection, efficient resource utilization, improved transmission reliability, reduced latency and packet loss, and automated network optimization without requiring continuous manual intervention.
