Abstract: The present invention relates to an Intelligent Robot for Real-Time Voice Emotion Detection and Expressive Response using artificial intelligence, speech processing, and embedded robotic technologies. The system captures real-time voice input through a microphone module and processes the speech signal using preprocessing and feature extraction techniques such as MFCC, pitch, and energy analysis. A machine learning or deep learning-based Speech Emotion Recognition (SER) model classifies emotional states including Happy, Sad, Angry, Fearful, and Neutral. Based on the detected emotion, the robot generates synchronized verbal responses and physical expressions using text-to-speech systems and servo motor-controlled facial movements. The invention enables emotionally intelligent human–robot interaction by combining emotion recognition with expressive robotic behavior. The system reduces communication barriers, improves user engagement, and supports applications in healthcare assistance, elderly care, education, therapy support, and social companionship. The proposed invention represents an advanced emotionally aware robotic system suitable for future intelligent interactive environments.
