Abstract: ABSTRACT An intelligent mine safety control system (100) integrates worker compliance, hazard reporting, location information, behavioural events, risk assessment, and emergency response through an architecture. Worker and edge devices (102) provide checklist, PPE, training, hazard, incident, and emergency events to a compliance verification module (103) and behaviour event normalizer (104). A safety state manager (105) associates events with worker identity and mine location. A risk scoring engine (106) evaluates severity, frequency, recency, repeated behaviour, unresolved actions, proximity, and interventions. A threshold and policy engine (107) selects an intervention based on risk and location. An intervention controller (108) dispatches alerts, work restrictions, evacuation instructions, or emergency escalation. An audit-integrity ledger (109) stores time-stamped decisions, acknowledgements, actions, and closures. An edge synchronization module (110) queues events during connectivity loss. A trend analytics module (111) identifies recurring unsafe behaviour and hazard hotspots. A safety repository (112) maintains records for supervisory review and regulatory evidence.
