Inventors include Swati Pravin Aswale; Mr. Piyush Maruti Ambekar; Dr. Kundan Machindra Kale; and Mr. Vivek Sanjay Patil.

The application for the patent was published on September 04, 2026, under issue no. 36/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an intelligent portable acoustic protection device (100) for selective suppression of environmental noise in indoor environments. The device comprises a 360° high-density multi-microphone array(120) configured to capture surrounding acoustic signals, a noise source localization module (130) configured to determine the direction of detected sound sources, an AI-based sound classification module (140) configured to distinguish construction noise, vehicle noise, human speech, emergency alert signals, and other acoustic events ,an embedded AI Controller (150), a digital signal processor (160), a predictive adaptive active noise cancellation engine (170), beam-street directional speaker array (180), a feedback microphone array(190), and an adaptive self-learning optimization module(200). The Device selectively generates and emits anti-noise signals for construction and vehicle noise while preserving human speech and emergency warning signals. The invention provides intelligent acoustic protection for buildings, and other indoor environments. The architecture is modular and scalable, enabling customization of microphones, speaker arrays, and processing capability according to the required coverage area and acoustic performance.
