MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611110120 A) filed by Perminder Singh; and Vega Mahajan on September 14, 2026, for An Intelligent Modular In- Situ System And Method For Treatment Of High- Strength Pharmaceutical.
Inventors include Perminder Singh; and Vega Mahajan.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: An intelligent modular in-situ treatment syc,tcm and method for high-strength pharmaceutical effluents is disdosed. The system integrates wastewater equalization and pre-treatment, advanced oxidation, ultrafiltration and/or reverse osmosis, thermal 10 concentration and crystallization/drying with ~ real-time monitoring and automated feedback-control platform. Sensors monitor par2meters including pH, COD, TDS, flow, temperature, pressure and pharmaceuticai/API concentration. A programmable controller dynamically adjusts treatment parameters accordinv, to measured effluent characteristics. Membrane concentrate is directed to thermal tn~dt ment and crystallization to substantially 15 eliminate liquid discharge, while treated water is recovered. for reuse. The modular architecture permits installation at or near an industrial source and enables adaptive operation, process optimization, water recovery and LLD-oriented treatment.
