Abstract: The present invention relates to an Intelligent Machine Learning—Based Edge Computing Device for robust distributed data processing and adaptive execution of models in challenging industrial scenarios. The rapid expansion of sensor data has made traditional cloud computing architectures slow and ineffective due to latency, bandwidth and privacy challenges. This device overcomes these limitations by executing compute-intensive tasks at the network edge. The device has a ruggedized unibody metal design with an efficient processor that has a dedicated Al engine. This hardware setup allows for the on-site execution of complex machine learning algorithms and neural networks in real-time. To ensure continuous performance over long computing periods, the device incorporates a passive heat sink system, allowing for a fanless product to prevent mechanical failure and dust. The invention's main feature is connectivity with a wide range of high-speed ports containing advanced USB ports and two ethernet ports. They provide seamless integration into distributed networks while enabling high-bandwidth acquisition of performance data. The power management unit included in the system can operate under a wide range of voltages which makes it suitable for diverse industrail and mobile platforms. This invention decentralizes intelligence and enables autonomous local decision making in a scalable and efficient manner, thereby aiding automated systems, smart structures, and real-time analytic applications.
