Abstract: The present invention relates to an intelligent IoT-enabled Edge-AI system for multimodal medical image analysis, real-time abnormality detection, and remote clinical decision support. The system receives medical images from multiple modalities including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound through an IoT-enabled communication framework. The acquired images are preprocessed and analyzed using an Edge-AI processing unit for feature extraction, multimodal feature fusion, and abnormality detection. The system generates abnormality information, confidence scores, risk indicators, and alerts, which are securely transmitted to an authorized remote clinical interface. The system may further integrate physiological parameters obtained from IoT-enabled patient monitoring devices. By performing AI-based analysis at the edge, the invention enables rapid medical image processing, reduces communication latency and dependency on centralized cloud processing, and provides intelligent support for timely clinical assessment and remote healthcare monitoring.
