Their capacity to identify trends in yield over time reduces their performance to evaluate the quality of farming activities. With the use of computer vision to automate the counting process, the proposed solution optimizes time, eliminates human error and produces reliable yield statistics. This helps farmers optimize resource utilization, customize pricing strategies, deploy better strategies and help in making informed choices. Furthermore, tracking trends of yield with time offers useful information for continuous improvement, allowing for better results and greater profitability. The implementation of advanced multi-object tracking methods has shown significant improvements in accurately assessing fruit yield. By enhancing precision and efficiency in the counting process, this system demonstrates strong potential for transforming traditional yield estimation methods, making them more reliable and effective for modern farming practices.
