MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611108209 A) filed by Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute Of Technology on September 09, 2026, for An Intelligent Cloud-Based Audio Health Indicator For Electric Vehicle Energy Storage System.
Inventors include Bablu Kumar Sah; Anil Kumar Yadav; and Om Prakash Verma.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: An intelligent cloud-based system (100) and method for indicating the operational health of an electric vehicle energy storage system (102) is disclosed. The system includes an on-site physical monitoring subsystem (104) and a server-side cloud analytics subsystem (106) connected via a wireless communication layer (120). The on-site subsystem (104) collects real-time electrical, thermal, and acoustic sensory telemetry from a battery pack (102) using a primary sensor suite (108), a battery management system (110), and an acoustic sensor (114). An internet-of-things gateway (116) transmits telemetry streams to a cloud platform (122) hosting an artificial intelligence and machine learning analytics engine (124). The analytics engine (124) executes a healthy digital twin model to generate predicted healthy baseline parameters. A threshold and decision engine (126) evaluates differential errors between actual telemetry and predicted baselines. If differential errors exceed confidence thresholds across consecutive operating cycles, a cloud alarm signal is sent to an on-site intelligent audio health indicator unit (118) to output an audible warning sound, while simultaneously displaying remote warnings on a dashboard alert interface (130).
