MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611086991 A) filed by Suresh Gyan Vihar University on July 16, 2026, for An Intelligent Apparatus For Grain Cleaning, Grading, And Quality Evaluation Processes.
Inventors include Dr. Ajeet Singh Shekhawat; and Dr. Gaurav Sharma.
The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: An intelligent apparatus for grain cleaning, grading, and quality evaluation is disclosed. The apparatus receives grain through a controlled feed path, removes light and heavy impurities, separates fractions by size and density, and evaluates quality through optical, moisture, and flow sensing. A controller coordinates feed delivery, air separation, sieve movement, and discharge routing according to measured grain attributes and selected grade criteria. The apparatus provides integrated processing, reduced manual judgement, segregated outputs, and quality information suitable for procurement, storage, milling, and seed handling applications.
