Abstract: The latest invention is related to an AI-based Internship Authenticity Verification System that would help to guarantee the authenticity of internship opportunities offered to students. The system enables the students to post internship information such as the company name, email address, stipend information and offer letters in PDF format through a web application. The submissions are saved on a cloud database and are automatically processed by several verification modules. The system distinguishes company authenticity by official websites and business registries, the email domain by DNS and domain matching, and the offer letter by identifying attempts of tampering or forgery. Also, under the machine learning model (Random Forest), the system categorizes internships as Genuine, Suspicious and Fake. An administrative interface that is based on roles enables institutions to track submissions, workflows of verification and review suspicious cases effectively. The invention offers to the students and institutions a transparent, efficient, and accurate platform of verifying internship and make informed decisions.
