Abstract: An integrated wall-mounted smart environmental control and automated surface drying system manages humidity, pathogen accumulation, and slip hazards within high-humidity enclosures. The system features a vertically oriented housing containing a multi-stage HEPA and activated carbon filtration assembly, an enclosed 254 nm UV-C air sterilization chamber, and a vapor compression moisture extraction unit that collects atmospheric condensate into a sloped stainless-steel tray. An embedded 32-bit microcontroller governs operation via a multi-sensor array tracking temperature, humidity, occupancy, and capacitive floor wetness through a staggered sampling protocol. The system utilizes a predictive drying algorithm to suppress peak humidity and redirects condenser waste heat to blow dry, warm air toward the floor. Collected condensate is routed through a closed-loop fluid pathway, sterilized, heated, and dispersed through a micro-atomizing nozzle as 5–15 micron droplets for safe, rapid-evaporating floor sanitation during periods of zero occupancy.
