MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511063971 A) filed by Devalsari Naturals on July 04, 2025, for An Integrated Off-Grid System For Indoor Cultivation And Post-Harvest Processing Of Hydroponic Microgreens.

Inventor includes Vijay Pratap Singh Rawat.

The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an integrated indoor, off-grid system (100) for the cultivation and processing of hydroponic microgreens. The integrated system (100) comprises a vertical nutrient film technique (NFT) hydroponics unit (104) with artificial intelligence (AI)-driven full-spectrum light-emitting diode (LED) lighting unit (106), a closed-loop water recirculation unit (108) with a multi-stage filtration unit (110) and an ultraviolet (UV) sterilization unit (112), internet of things (IoT)-enabled heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) unit (120), and a climate control subsystem (118) powered by solar energy with battery backup. It further includes an integrated post-harvest processing subsystem (124) featuring UV sterilization, cold-water blanching, vacuum- assisted fermentation, heat pump drying, blast freezing, and freeze-drying to ensure microbial safety, extended shelf life, and retention of heat-sensitive bioactive compounds. A centralized IoT control subsystem (140) enables real-time monitoring, energy optimization, and remote access. FIG. 1
