Abstract: An integrated insole (102) for harvesting energy is disclosed. The insole body (300) is adapted to be removably inserted into a footwear (100) and includes a first layer (402) embedded with a first electronic element and a second layer (404) embedded with a second electronic element. The first layer (402) is adapted to be pressed against the second layer (404) such that an interaction between the first electronic element and the second electronic element generates an electrical energy. A power management unit (406) is disposed adjacent to the first layer (402) and the second layer (404) and electrically connected to the first electronic element and the second electronic element. The power management unit (406) is adapted to regulate the generated electrical energy.
