Abstract: AN INTEGRATED HARDWARE-SOFTWARE SYSTEM AND IOT-DRIVEN MICRO-NODE ARCHITECTURE FOR DECENTRALIZED HYPERLOCAL PACKET DISTRIBUTION AND LIVE INVENTORY SYNCHRONIZATION The present invention discloses an integrated IoT-driven micro-node architecture for hyperlocal packet distribution and live inventory synchronization. The system comprises a central algorithmic engine that consolidates localized delivery demand and a plurality of edge hardware micro-node stations, each equipped with a temperature-compensated ultrasonic volumetric sensor array, a multi-tag scanning module, a Bluetooth Low Energy transceiver, and an electromechanical solenoid lock. The central engine validates real-time capacity readings from a destination node before routing shipments, preventing physical containment overflow. Retrieval is authorized through a fully offline cryptographic handshake in which the micro-node broadcasts a rolling challenge token, the end-user terminal signs it with a locally stored private key, and the microcontroller validates the response together with proximity gating to resist relay attacks, with time-based fallback validation permitting credential revocation without an active network connection. This architecture reduces centralized server computational load and write-latency, prevents structural overflow through dynamic sensor compensation, and preserves secure access authorization during complete network outages.
