MUMBAI, India, Sept. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611084095 A) filed by Mahesh Bhardwaj on July 08, 2026, for An Infrared Controlled Solenoid Valve Assembly.
Inventor includes Mahesh Bhardwaj.
The application for the patent was published on September 04, 2026, under issue no. 36/2026.
Abstract: An infrared controlled solenoid valve assembly comprising of a flow control valve arrangement (10) adapted to control fluid flow to a plumbing fixture, such as a tap or urinal. It is a control unit (11) operatively connected with the flow control valve arrangement (10) to drive the flow control valve arrangement (10) in response to infrared sensing of user presence. In this, at least one infrared sensor (12) is operatively connected with the control unit (11), mounted in use adjacent to the plumbing fixture so as to detect the presence of a user near a fluid outlet/inlet to provide corresponding sensing signals to the control unit (11). It is a power source (13) operatively connected with control unit (11) to supply electrical power to the control unit (11), the flow control valve arrangement (10) and the infrared sensor (12). It is a compact body (14) adapted to incorporate the flow control valve arrangement (10), the control unit (11) and the power source (13) together as an integrated assembly for installation with the plumbing fixture.
