Abstract: ABSTRACT An Image-Based Machine Learning System for Automated Detection and Measurement of Reinforcement Bars in Reinforced Concrete Structures The present invention discloses an image-based machine learning system (100) for automated detection and measurement of reinforcement bars in reinforced concrete structures. The images captured at construction sites are processed using a real time based deep learning object detection module (103) to identify reinforcement bars. The detected regions are analysed using a convolutional neural network-based regression model to estimate bar diameter. The pixel-based measurements are converted into real-world dimensions through calibration techniques. The system (100) provides a non-destructive, accurate, and automated solution for reinforcement verification in construction quality control and forensic structural applications. Fig. 1
