Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention discloses a smart leaf disease detection and fertilizer recommendation system using image processing and deep learning techniques. The system acquires crop leaf images and preprocesses the images using resizing, enhancement, denoising, and segmentation techniques. A VGG19-based Convolutional Neural Network classifies diseases from the processed leaf images. Upon disease identification, the system automatically maps the disease to a fertilizer recommendation database and generates treatment suggestions including fertilizer recommendations. The invention supports multiple crop categories including tomato, potato, and sugarcane and enables real-time disease diagnosis with improved accuracy. The system is scalable, cost-effective, and suitable for precision agriculture applications.
