Anu on December 05, 2024, for An Experimental Investigation On Hybrid Fiber Reinforced Concrete And Partial Replacement Of Coarse Aggregate With Pumice Stone.
Inventors include Dr. K. Sudhagar; K. N. Janardhanan; and G. Anu.
The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.
Abstract: This invention involves a composition and procedure for Hybrid fiber reinforced concrete and partial replacement of coarse aggregate with Pumice stone to increase the strength of concrete by using of Hybrid fibers (steel & Polypropylene with equal proportions) as well as decrease the weight of concrete by using Pumice stone with the replacement of Coarse aggregate. The Modified Concrete is prepared by mixing of Cement, fine aggregate (M sand), Coarse aggregate (HBG jelly), water, Hybrid fibers (Steel fiber, Polypropylene fiber) and Pumice stone. The moulds are kept at a temperature of 15-25° C for 10 hours. The concrete is cured at a temperature of less than 30° C for 24 hours. The temperature of the moulds helps the concrete to set in the desired shape and, the curing process helps to give the concrete to attain its final properties.
