Abstract: ABSTRACT An Exhaust System for an Internal Combustion Engine The present invention relates to an exhaust system (100) for an internal combustion engine (12). The exhaust system has an exhaust pipe (110) connected to the internal combustion engine (12) and configured to receive the exhaust gases from the internal combustion engine (12). A first muffler member (120) is provided downstream of the exhaust pipe (110) in an exhaust gas path. The first muffler member (120) is configured to allow the exhaust gases to expand before being released into the atmosphere. A second muffler member (130) is provided downstream of the exhaust pipe (110) and upstream of the first muffler member (120) in the exhaust gas path.
