The exhaust assembly (200) comprising: an exhaust pipe (206) coupled to an exhaust port (202a) of the internal combustion engine (202); and a muffler (204) coupled to the exhaust pipe (206). The exhaust assembly (200) comprises one or more conversion members (208) and one or more sensing members (216). At least one of the one or more conversion members (208) is configured in the muffler (204). At least one of the one or more sensing members (216) being configured in the muffler (204) and disposes downstream of the at least one of the one or more conversion members (208) configured in the muffler (204) at a pre-defined distance (d) from the at least one of the one or more conversion members (208) configured in the muffler (204).
