Abstract: The invention discloses an ergonomic strap integrated back support system for backpacks that reduces physiological stress and improves comfort during prolonged use. The system comprises a continuous unified strap assembly (2, 3, 10, 11) forming shoulder loops, crossing in an X geometry between the scapulae, and extending into a padded hip belt. Tightening the hip belt retracts the shoulders and opens the chest, transferring 60–80% of the payload to the hips while enforcing upright posture. A zoned back support panel (1, 2) with graduated stiffness and embedded elastic thoracic inserts (8) limits excessive forward flexion while permitting axial rotation and lateral bending. The harness is detachable and replaceable, with front pack attachment points (6, 9) integrated into the shoulder straps for balanced load distribution. The synergy of crossing geometry and flexion limiters creates a self reinforcing posture promoting loop, reducing spinal shear and compressive forces. The invention is modular, adaptable, and suitable for every day, occupational, and recreational carrying tasks.
