The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.

Abstract: “AN ENVIRONMENT-AWARE UNDERWATER ADAPTIVE INFERENCE SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF” The present invention relates to an environment-aware underwater adaptive inference system (100) and a method (200) for environment-aware adaptive inference in underwater environments. The system (100) comprises an underwater sensing module (102) configured to acquire underwater observation data and environmental measurements comprising temperature, pressure, and salinity. A processing module (108) executes a neural inference model using historical underwater sensor data and recent underwater observation data to generate neuron activation responses. A neuron relevance estimation module (110), a temporal relevance divergence computation module (112), and an environmental drift estimation module (114) determine neuron relevance variation and environmental drift. An adaptive neuron suppression module (116) performs reversible suppression of obsolete neurons, while a controlled fine-tuning module (118) updates selected neural inference model parameters to generate adaptive inference outputs. The invention provides stable neural adaptation and reduced retraining under changing underwater environmental conditions. Referring Fig.1
