Traditional seaweed desiccation techniques, including solar drying and manually operated mechanical dryers, frequently face challenges related to weather reliance, inconsistent moisture extraction, contamination hazards, and substantial labour demands. The proposed approach circumvents these limitations by employing an intelligent sensor-driven Internet of Things framework that perpetually observes environmental variables such as temperature, humidity, moisture levels, and airflow within the drying chamber. The real-time sensor data enables adaptive regulation of heating and ventilation systems, ensuring uniform drying with minimal energy use. The system enables automatic decision-making, data recording, and remote surveillance via cloud connectivity. Both huge industrial processing plants and modest coastal agriculturalists can get advantages from the solution's modular and scalable architecture. This initiative fosters the sustainable use of marine resources by reducing postharvest losses, enhancing drying uniformity, and advocating for advanced aquaculture practices.
