Abstract: ABSTRACT AN EMPLOYEE COGNITIVE FLEXIBILITY ASSESSMENT SCALE AND VALIDATION METHOD FRAMEWORK The invention relates to psychometric assessment and organizational behavior, and provides an Employee Cognitive Flexibility Scale psychometric assessment system and corresponding validation method grounded in Cognitive Flexibility Theory and limited to workplace expression of cognitive flexibility. The system structures assessment around three dimensions, awareness of alternatives, willingness to adapt, and self-efficacy in navigating change, and advances existing knowledge by supplying an employee- specific construct definition, dimension-governed item generation, content validation, reliability testing, and construct validation using employee response data from a diverse sample. Scale statements are developed through literature review and expert consultation, validated for representational adequacy and workplace relevance, and refined before final deployment. The measurement output enables assessment of employee cognitive flexibility for workplace adaptation, problem solving under changing conditions, and organizational decision-making concerning employee development and role-related adaptability.
