Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a secure emergency healthcare access system and protocol for controlled retrieval of critical patient medical records during emergency situations. The system dynamically grants context-aware, role-specific, and time-bound access permissions to authorized healthcare personnel when patient consent is unavailable or impractical to obtain. The invention incorporates runtime authorization enforcement, contextual emergency validation, automated access revocation, and immutable audit logging within a unified framework. Unlike conventional break-glass mechanisms that provide broad and persistent access privileges, the proposed system restricts access to clinically relevant information based on responder role and emergency context, and automatically revokes permissions upon expiry or emergency resolution. All access events, authorization actions, and revocation activities are securely recorded in tamper-resistant audit logs to ensure accountability, regulatory compliance, and post-event traceability. Theinvention thereby improves patient safety, privacy protection, and medico-legal governance in emergency healthcare environments.
