The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT AN EMERGENCY BRAKING SYSTEM WITH DYNAMIC MODE SWITCHING AND ADAPTIVE THRESHOLDING AND A METHOD THEREOF The present disclosure discloses an emergency braking system with dynamic mode switching and adaptive thresholding and a method thereof. The system(100) continuously evaluates vehicle surroundings, road conditions, and driver behavior to optimize braking responses. The system(100) comprises a radar module (102) for real-time obstacle detection, a live positioning module(104) for environment classification, and V2V/V2I communication(106) for enhanced situational awareness. Onboard and external sensors assess weather and terrain conditions, while driver monitoring modules(110) track attentiveness and fatigue. A predictive decision-making module(114) dynamically adjusts time-to-collision (TTC) and distance-to-collision (DTC) thresholds using machine learning trained on accident data. The braking actuation module(116) executes braking commands based on risk assessment, coordinating with ABS and ESC for stability. A cognitive AI- based adaptive feedback loop(118) continuously refines braking thresholds. The system(100) enhances vehicle safety by proactively mitigating collision risks in complex traffic and environmental conditions.
