Abstract: Title: An Edge-Computing Tactical IoT Handy-Kit for Multispectral Surveillance, Edge Intelligence and Secure Communication The current invention relates to a portable edge-computing tactical IoT handy-kit (100) for multispectral surveillance and secure communication. The system integrates optical and thermal imaging sensors, positioning and inertial sensors, environmental sensing, multispectral sensor fusion (103), an edge processor with artificial-intelligence acceleration (104), adaptive power management (108), cryptographic security (106) and reconfigurable radio communication (107). Acquired sensor data is locally preprocessed (102), synchronized, fused and analyzed to perform object detection, classification, anomaly recognition, target tracking, geospatial localization, threat assessment and tactical-intelligence generation without continuous cloud connectivity. Tactical intelligence is compressed, encrypted, authenticated and transmitted to authorized tactical nodes through frequency-hopping communication and secure mesh networking. An atmospheric-pressure-responsive power-management subsystem dynamically controls processing, sensing, communication and battery utilization according to altitude and environmental conditions. The integrated rugged and modular architecture provides low-latency, low-bandwidth, secure, energy-efficient and cloud-independent situational awareness for field deployment.
