Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for electronic waste verification, tracking, and secure recycling management. The system comprises an image acquisition unit configured to acquire one or more images of an electronic waste item, a processing unit configured to generate a standardized image representation, extract structural characteristics, compare the extracted structural characteristics with reference feature profiles stored in a device classification repository, and generate category determination information. A verification unit performs correspondence evaluation between the category determination information and category information associated with a disposal request to generate validated disposal information. A secure transaction recording unit generates and stores a validated disposal transaction in a secure transaction repository. A recycler selection unit associates an authorized recycling facility with the validated disposal transaction, and a receipt generation unit retrieves the validated disposal transaction to generate and digitally authenticate a disposal certificate.
