Abstract: The present invention relates to an autonomous hospital sanitizing robot. The robot designed to disinfect healthcare environments effectively and safely. The robot comprises a mobile platform powered by a battery (101) regulated through a voltage regulator (102) and controlled by a microcontroller unit (103). A motor system (106) enables autonomous movement, while a relay module (104) controls sanitizing components. The sanitization system includes UV-C light sources (105) for surface and air disinfection, along with optional disinfectant spraying mechanisms. A camera module (107), in combination with proximity and navigation sensors, facilitates real-time environment monitoring, obstacle detection, and path planning. Wireless communication is enabled through a network module (108) for remote control, monitoring, and data logging. The robot is capable of operating in predefined or dynamically generated routes and incorporates safety mechanisms to disable UV-C emission upon human detection. The invention reduces manual labor, minimizes infection transmission, and improves hygiene standards in hospitals, clinics, and other public healthcare facilities.
