Abstract: The present invention relates to an autonomous fire-fighting robot for indoor closed spaces, comprising an Arduino Uno microcontroller (100), three KY-026 infrared flame sensors (101), an L298N motor driver (102), four BO gear motors (103), a water pump (104), a servo motor (105), an 11.1V lithium battery pack (106), a switch (107), a capacitor (108), and a back-EMF protection diode (109), mounted on a birch ply wood chassis. The sensors (101) at 0° and ±60° provide omnidirectional detection with no blind spots. The microcontroller (100) polls sensors (101) at 50 Hz, navigates via differential drive through motor driver (102) and BO gear motors (103), and activates water pump (104) via NPN transistor on three consecutive flame confirmations within 60 milliseconds. Servo motor (105) sweeps nozzle left, centre, and right every 2 seconds during suppression. The system achieves 91.7% detection accuracy and 80% suppression success, operating for 30–45 minutes at USD 40–45.
