Abstract: ABSTRACT AN AUTONOMOUS AERIAL WALL PAINTING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PAINTING A WALL SURFACE The present disclosure relates to an autonomous aerial wall painting system and method for painting a wall surface. The autonomous aerial wall painting system (100) comprising an unmanned aerial vehicle (102), a painting assembly (104) including an articulated arm (106), a roller-based paint applicator (108), and a contact-force regulating mechanism (110), a paint delivery system (112), a wall sensing system (114), and a controller (116). The controller coordinates operation of the unmanned aerial vehicle (102), the painting assembly (104), the paint delivery system (112), and the wall sensing system (114) to autonomously apply paint onto a wall surface by maintaining continuous rolling contact of the roller-based paint applicator (108) with the wall surface. FIG. 1 will be the reference figure.
