MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541002631 A) filed by M. Kumarasamy College Of Engineering on January 11, 2025, for An Automatic Sewage Block Identifier And Cleaning System.

Abstract: ABSTRACT AN AUTOMATIC SEWAGE BLOCK IDENTIFIER AND CLEANING SYSTEM The present invention discloses an automatic sewage block identifier and cleaning system (10) for eliminating the need of manual workers to clean the sewage block. The system comprises an underwater drone comprises a plurality of rotating elements for enabling the movement of the drone at the inner path of the sewage. The web cam (20) is configured to capture the real time one or more parameters from the sewage by means of predefined instructions. The plurality of sensor modules (25) configured to detect the presence of the objects to prevent the accidents. The water pressure pump is configured to destroy the blockages at the inner path of the sewage by delivering high pressure of water over the blockages at the high velocity. The drone arm (45) is configured to remove the strong obstacles and blockages using its hands when the detection of improper cleaning of blockages. The drone circuit (50) is configured to control the movement and operation of the underwater drone by means of real time parameters. The present invention will reduce the involvement of manual labours to clean the sewage blocks in an effective manner.
