MUMBAI, India, June 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202431096443 A) filed by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited on December 06, 2024, for An Automated Dead Weight Calibration Apparatus.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an automated dead weight loading and unloading apparatus (100) for calibration of load cells wherein a rectangular frame configured from a fixed middle base bar (1) in which two vertically grooved rectangular fixed columns (2) bolted over the middle base bar (1), and a top fixed bar (3) bolted at the other end of the vertically grooved fixed columns (2). Further, plurality of L-shape lever (4) connected with corresponding plurality of pins (15) in the grooves of the vertically grooved columns (2) which facilitates the lifting or lowering of the dead weights on the pan; and two corresponding round movable bars (5) which moves up and down are enabled to be guided in the slots of the rectangular frame.
