Abstract: Abstract The present invention relates to an automated and semi-automated Dal Vada making device (100) integrated with an electrical induction heating system for hygienic and efficient preparation of lentil-based fried food products. The device (100) comprises a stainless-steel main body (101), a batter storage chamber (102), an ingredient mixing unit (103), and a controlled batter dispensing mechanism (104) configured to release predetermined quantities of batter. A shaping assembly (105) forms the batter into uniform Dal Vada shapes before transferring the shaped batter into a frying chamber (106) containing edible oil. The frying chamber (106) is thermally coupled with an induction heating stove (107) configured to provide uniform and energy-efficient heating. A programmable control unit (108) regulates dispensing quantity, frying temperature, frying duration, and production rate. Temperature sensors (109) continuously monitor oil temperature and communicate with the control unit (108) to maintain optimal frying conditions. A conveyor or transfer mechanism (110) automatically transfers formed Dal Vadas into and out of the frying chamber (106). The device further includes an oil filtration unit (111), a safety cut-off system (112), and overload protection circuitry (113) for safe and continuous operation. The stainless-steel construction of the main body (101) improves hygiene, corrosion resistance, durability, and ease of cleaning. The invention reduces manual handling, minimizes oil wastage, improves frying consistency, and enhances operational safety during large-scale production of Dal Vadas and similar lentil-based snack products in restaurants, catering units, food stalls, and food processing industries.
