Abstract: The present invention relates to an automated apparatus for removal of solid waste from underground drains. The system comprises an ESP32 microcontroller (100) as the central controller, connected to an ultrasonic sensor (101) and a water level sensor (102) mounted across the drainage channel for detecting blockages and overflow. When sensor readings exceed a predetermined threshold, the microcontroller (100) activates an L298N motor driver (103) through its GPIO pins, which powers dual DC gear motors (104) mechanically coupled to a conveyor mechanism (105) that lifts and removes accumulated debris from the drainage surface. Simultaneously, the built-in Wi-Fi output interface (106) of the ESP32 transmits real-time water level and system status updates to a dashboard or mobile interface. A power supply unit (107) comprising a 12V battery and a buck converter supplies regulated 5V power to the system. The motors stop automatically upon restoration of normal water levels, after which the system resumes monitoring.
